Diablo 3 About To Hit Stands

Fans have been waiting patiently for years and Blizzard Entertainment has been talking about it for years. The game is Diablo 3 and fans are finally going to see what the talk is all about. Though there has not been an official release date designated, the game is expected out early 2012.

The plot is similar to the other two games. The game takes place in the fantasy world called Sanctuary. At the end of Diablo 2, the world was saved by a group of warriors who now have gone mad from their battles. Diablo 3 is centered on a new group of warriors who will be battling the dark forces of Sanctuary. As of right now Deckard Cain is the only confirmed NPC for the game. Most fans will recognize Cain from the other two Diablo games.

Diablo 3 will use a custom 3D game engine to give you an overhead view of your player. Enemies will be found within the same environment as well providing you with a more realistic feel to the game. As with earlier games, multiplayer games will be available and players will be able to come and go as they please. The game will have both static and random levels so that game play evolves as you play the game over and over again. Characters classes for the game will include witchdoctors, barbarians, wizards, monks and the demon hunter.

In August it was announced that Blizzard is including an auction house feature that will allow players to sell and buy in-game items for real money. For the auction house to work, the new game will require an internet connection at all time. There is no off-line mode available. To use the auction house, a flat rate will be required to list the item and another rate will be added once the item has sold. Real money will be required to list and buy an item.

Makers of the game have said they will not release the game until it is completely finished and that they have no reason to rush it to the market. One thing is for sure, fans have a lot to look forward to.
